Step-by-step explanation:

=> Data of number of family members of 10 neighborhood families:

2, 4, 4, 6, 2, 3, 5, 5, 7, 4

Mean :

( Σ xi ) = 2 + 4 + 4 + 6 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 5 + 7 + 4 = 42

n = 10

mean = ( Σ xi ) / n.

= 42/10

= 4.2

Median :

2, 2, 3, 4, (4, 4,) 5, 5, 6, 7

Median = 5th observation + 6th observation / 2

= 4 + 4 / 2

= 8 / 2

4

Mode :

The value which appear most often is 4. it appear more time than any of the other data values.

Thus, the mode is 4.

Thus, the mean median and mode for my 10 neighborhood families are 4.2, 4 and 4 respectively.
