Actually the Geyser is made up of two semi conductors, such as- Nicrome and Tungsten.
When, we pass electricity to those, we find them heated up.Thus when the water are passed, into the geyser, and raised up to the conductors the water will be heated.
This is the process by which the Geyser works....hope you understand. :)

first the water enters in through inlet and then it is stored .when the rod gets heated the heat is transferred to water and water get heated and comes out through through the outlet
