Colonel Harland David Sanders, born on September 1890, was the eldest of the three children Wilbur David and Margaret Ann Sanders. He had a lot of failures and destruction in his life till the age of his death, but still he remained strong and tried to avoid them, overcome them by hardworking. His life reminds us that victory will reach us if we work harder patiently even we get failures constantly.
Mr. Sanders was born on a poor family which always faced financially crises at worst. After a few days of father's death, he couldn't stay for longer putting up with the problems faced by him, and started to do something and decided to get in any job, leaving school studies. Because he knew that the money gained by his mother from small works wouldn't let off the poverty of his family.
Thus onwards there were no jobs done by Mr. Sanders. Have done various jobs in four places till his age of 17. Besides he joined the army but got out. After his marriage, at the age of 20, his spouse left him with his two children. Thus his miserable life went on...
He joined a restaurant as a helper for cooking and dish washing, and thus he have learnt some cooking recipes as much as needed. Still he had no wealth and earnings till the age of 65. He had no family yet. Thus his life reached the poorest condition.
By thinking that life was went in vain and was a big loss, he took a deep decision; to commit suicide!!! Thus he became ready to commit suicide. But he didn't commit, as he wrote in the suicide writing that he had to do something instead of goodbye...!!! Thus he replaced the suicide temporarily, and went to do the earlier job; to wear the earlier chef coat!!!
He started cooking in dishes taken on rent. He went to all the houses in Kentucky place with his special fried chicken. He started a restaurant at roadside when he got enough money. Slowly the taste of his fried chicken became famous at the region. People began to call it, "Harland Sanders' Kentucky Fried Chicken"!
Once upon a time Sanders began a cafe namely ''Court 'n' Cafe''. Even his intense crisis didn't lower down, because one day this cafe got flamed. Thus this cafe was rebuilt again in a few months, working harder than harder. But anther problem faced him that a new shortcut road was built there, without touching the cafe! Thus the cafe lost its value when people began travel via this new road.
He decided to sell the recipe of his special fried chicken but no one didn't buy it. Finally it was bought by a hotel, and Sanders got commission on selling each chicken. Thus the taste of his special fried chicken gained reputation once more. The branches of the hotel started at different places. Lone in America, 600 KFC Centres were active in 1963! But he sold the Kentucky Fried Chicken for 2 million US Dollars at that time (around 14 crore Indian Rupees) in 1963.
Colonel Harland David Sanders, the hard worker, born in 1890, passed away in 1980, who did a lot of hard work and jobs but all went in vain. But he didn't stop even. He went on his responsibility to his life. He did a lot of contributions to his life. Now KFC is owned by Pepsi Company, and it has around 17 lakh crore Indian Rupees of asset now.
His life teaches us that, even failure occurs constantly in every hard work, don't stop it there and continue doing it patiently, and it'll reach success at one time.
