Colonial rule led to uneven development of regions in a century. In India too under the British, coastal regions like Bengal, Madras and Bombay developed faster. Why do you think such uneven development takes place?

The colonial rule led to the urban development of certain regions under their rule at a very large extensive developmental rate.

Capitalism and intervention of Colonialism made certain regions under the British rule in India as developed faster than the other through the specific features brought or rather say inherited from the metropolis with the evolutionary characteristics.

These features contribute to the uneven development of countries which were under specific Colonial rule, like European colonialism experienced under Asia, Africa and even America.
