Earth quake is defined as a natural disaster which is caused due to movement of tectonic plates .

India has been divided into 5  zones  based on the earth quake prone areas.

Mostly effected with earth quake is :

Zone V -  entire north eastern India , parts of Jammu and Kashmir , Himachal Pradesh , Uttaraanchal, Rann of Kutch in Gujrat , North Bihar and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
