The Red Data Book is a type of a public document, which is created for the recordings of rare and endangered species including animals, plants and fungi as well as some local subspecies, which are present within the region of the state or country.
The Red data book contains three colored pages -- Red, Pink and Green.
The Red colored pages are symbolic of the danger that some species of both plants and animals presently experience throughout the globe. The Pink colored pages in the Red data book include the critically endangered species.

Green colored pages are used for those species that were formerly endangered, but now, they have been recovered to a point where they are no longer threatened.
