Colourless concentrated sulphuric acid in a test tube changes to blue on adding a small piece of copper to it , Give Reason .​

Answer:

when H2SO4 and Cu react, a compound of CuSO4 is formed which is pale blue in color, hence upon adding Cu to conc H2SO4, a color change is observed.
