Equation of Force in terms of magnetic field, charge and velocity = qvB

F = qvB

q = charge

v = velocity of the charge

B = magnetic field

Now, \(charge = current \times time\)

Dimensional formula for \( q = [A \times T]

Dimensional formula for v = \( L \times T^{-2}\)

\(F = [M \times L \times {T}^{-2}]\)

\( B = \frac{F}{qv}\)

Dimensional formula for B = \(\frac{MLT^{-2}}{LT^{-1} \times A \times T}\)

Dimensional formula for B =\(M T^{-2} A^{-1}\)

Hence, the dimensional formula for magnetic fiels is \(M T^{-2} A^{-1}\).
