eg. 2H2+O2=>2H2O

AB=>A+B. decomposition reaction

eg. 2H2O=>2H2+O2

      The reaction in which two or more reactants react to form a single reactant is known as combination reaction

 Example :   2H2 + O2 → 2H20  ( Formation of water )

The reaction in which a single reactant breaks down to give simpler products are  known as decomposition reaction

  Example : 2H20 → 2H2 +02       ( Done by electrolysis )
