ANSWER:

  1. Matthew Arnold. He is a famous poet who has written poems based on human welfare, discrimination among people and nature.
  2. Dover Beach. It is a poem about the nature of sea in comparison with the sufferings of the human race. The poet was enjoying the sea which meets the moon light land and from the window on the Dover beach. He tells how the human race is in sorrow in comparison with the pebbles which goes in and out with the waves. Likewise, man should never lose faith in tough situations. He wishes atleast love must be true forever.
  3. Moon blanched land means ‘the sea joins with the whitened or blanched land (moon’s light)’. The poet was sitting on the beach between england and france. From a window in  france, he looks the end of the sea which touches the whitened, shinny moonlight land.
