Comets are not self luminous..but they are entirely dependent on the solar radiatant energy as the ultimate source of the whole of their emitted light...
CONCLUSION;what we see the luminous comet is not self luminated but it is the reflection we see...made by reflecting the solar radiant energy of sun by..a comet.
