'The Verger' is a short story written by William Somerset Maugham. The story is about a verger Mr Albert was in St Peter's Church for 16 years. Then a new vicar came there who started investigating about Albert and found that he was not educated person. He then fired him from the job
Now came the positive decision making of Mr Albert. Instead of repenting this decision, he decided to move on and became a successful tobacconist. He turned his loss into an opportunity just be his positive decision making
