Mrs. Jordon is a stout and complacent woman. She is impassive and always has an irritating air around her. She is very witty and sharp. She holds the capacity to drive a hard bargain over things to gain possession. She too is a greedy person who takes every opportunity to criticise the Slaters and finally decides to take her father with her just for the sake of money.

Hope this will help you...

Mrs.Jordan too is equally insensitive, impolite and money minded like her sister. She is a real hypocrite as she speaks to hold delicate feeling for the presumably deceased father, but herself is rarely interested to see him. Her sister comments that she is very sharp, she has a habit to drive a hard bargain over whatever she likes, e.g., when she developed a fancy for the bureau, she ensured that it did not go to the sister. She had the habit of grabbing all good things in the world, therefore she eyed on her father's only one valuable gold watch. She stoops to the extent of disgracing her sister to get her father's property. Finally, she suffers because of her shrewd materialist nature.
