Comment on the crucial role played by the real marshal in the story of hearts and hands
Answers
Answer:
The real Marshal played an important role because he was shown as the negative character in the beginning of the story. Had it not been for the existence and personality traits of this character the twist at the end of the story wouldn't have been possible. He was seen as a heavy built and glum like person. This helped to fool the readers. He seems like the criminal who was handcuffed.
This man was also a nice character to read about, he was compassionate. He posed as a criminal to save another person. He cleared Mr. Easton's name atleast twice. He was sympathetic towards the criminal. He changed the stereotype.

The real Marshal played a crucial role in the story. He was kind towards his prisoner that is why he acted as a criminal and saved Mr Easton from getting embarrassed in front of Miss Fairchild as he said that Mr Easton is a Marshal. The story cannot be completed without him so he is also an important character in the story
