testis has many seminiferous tubules that has germinal epithelium, sertoli cells and various developmental stages of male gamete.

in between seminiferous tubules, interstitial cells or leydig cells are present.

leydig cells produce testosterone.

Ovary has outer cortex and inner medulla.

cortex is lined by germinal epithelium and has various ovarian follicles in various developmental stages.

Medulla consists of connective tissue, blood vessels and nerves.

secondary follicles secrete estrogen and corpus luteum secretes progesterone.
