Answer:

Explanation: it is an anti war poem. The indian soldiers are snatched away from the bosoms of mother india and they were sent to war . The mother india was very sad as her son were snatched and she asks question to the British whether they can measure the grief of the tears she weep or compass the woe of the watch she keep. She is in intense grief because her priceless treasures are lying now scattered like pearls . this conveys enormity of loss and also grief of mother losing her son.

the dead bodies of soldoers lying unattended on bloddy foeld of Flanders and France are compared to scattered flowers that nobody cares.this also quotes the huge loss of life on this meaningless futile war.

the poem emds on a note that the war would come to end soon and peace would prevail.mother india woshes that life will be reafashioned on anvils of peace
