In the story the duck and the kangaroo the duck was fed up with the nasty pond it wanted to hop like kangaroo to the imaginative places it asked kangaroo to fulfill her wish the precautions that she take like wearing the woollen socks and cloak ,smoking the cigar daily was very humorous.
