Comment on „The need of the hour is to reform the UN Security Council‟. What are the challenges that lie ahead of India in this context?

India is one of the largest contributor of troops to UN Peacekeeping missions. Although India is not a permanent member of UNSC, still with more than 8000 Indian personel serving in UN peacekeeping operation, is facing hightened danger. At least four indians have been killed in UN’s congo operations. As India’s population is growing it will be a good step to become a permanent member of UNSC. Recently Regarding the discussion for the need of UN security council with Donald Ramotar, president of Guyana,Indian PM talked about the line of credit which is worth $ 60 million to Guyana for two road aand ocean ferry projects in the Caribbean country. According to the centre it decided to include Guyana i the list of countries for giving visa-on-arrivaal facility. If helpful plzzz brainliest .......
