Lenin led to the overthrow of the Russian Provisional Government. He established Communist policy. He created USSR(Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics) . As regards his contribution to economy, he shifted to a new economic policy (NEP) which combined collectivism and a certain amount of private enterprise.
