Answer:

Theme of The Owl Critic

The Owl Critic uses humor and satire to prove its point. In this case, a soldier levels blistering criticism of a stuffed owl he sees. The humor is shown when the owl proves to actually be a living owl rather than the poor stuffed replica it was thought to be. The theme is how through sarcasm, we make the beautiful ugly.

Explanation:

The poem "The Owl Critic" is written by James Thomas Fields.

The poem is a satire on those who find fault in everything.

A young man arrives at the shop of Mr. Brown, who is a barber. In his shop, there is a stuffed bird.

The young man asks them who stuffed it? The young man, who was good in his field though that he could stuff the bird better.

He was proud because of his perfection in his field. Because of this, everyone in the shop ignores him. The young man thought that he could stuff the bird better than this in dark also.

But the climax comes when the bird spoke. The bird that the young man was criticizing was alive. The bird was a white owl.
