The title road not taken is justified since the poet always feels that he wants to travel through both the roads.He is always unhappy that he is not able to travel the other road.

The author wishes to travel in both the roads but is unable to do so ...... The author finally takes the road which was not used frequently by the people over there by which he feels he could have gone to the other road ... So , I guess road not taken is a perfect title
