Dihydrogen is produced commercially by various methods. These methods are as follow:
1) By electrolysis of acidified water.
2) Bosch process (From water gas).
3) Lane's process (from steam).
4) From hydrocarbons by partial oxidation.
5) By electrolyzing warm aqueous barium hydroxide solution between nickel electrodes ( For obtaining highly pure dihydrogen).
6) As by-product in the manufacture of NaOH and chlorine by the electrolysis of brine solution.
Hope this will help you in your study.

Answer:
Commercial Preparation of Dihydrogen
The hydrogen collects at the cathode while oxygen collects at the anode. This remains the cheapest way to produce hydrogen on a commercial scale. The gas is heated to high temperatures (up to 1100 C) with steam and a Nickel catalyst
