hence, wt.of soluteHCl = 38g

no of moles of HCl = 38g/36.5g/mol

= 1.04mol

volume of solution= mass/density= 100/1 .19ml

molarity of HCl solution=n/vol.= 1.04×10×1.19M

= 12.37M

(b)using M1V1 =M2V2

volume of HCl =( 1L)×(0.10M)/12.37M = 8.08 ml
