Rectifying Entry

Debit Commission A/C With Rs.220

Suspense Account Treatment

Commission paid shows a debit balance. But, when it is omitted to be posted in Commission paid A/C, Debit side on the Trial balance will be lesser than the credit side by Rs.220

Therefore , initially we would have debit the suspense A/C .

And when, the error is found, we should reverse the entry like this.

Commission paid A/C. Dr.  Rs.220

 To Suspense A/C. Rs.220

(Being error rectified)
