Here the given progression is

3 , 7 , 11 , 15 , . . . .

1st term = 3

2nd term = 7

3rd term = 11

4th term = 15

Now

2nd term - 1st term = 7 - 3 = 4

3rd term - 2nd term = 11 - 7 = 4

4th term - 3rd term = 15 - 11 = 4

Since the difference between two consecutive terms are same

So common difference exists

= 2nd term - 1st term
