PROOF :-

$a_1_9 =a+18d\\a_1_2=a+11d$

$a_1_9-a_1_2\\\\=a+18d-(a+11d)\\\\= a+ 18d-a-11d\\\\= 18d-11d\\\\= 7d$

By substituting d = 6

$=7(6)\\\\=42$
