In this question, we have to find out Common Factors and has

the HCF of the following numbers,

30, 126, 108

Let's start:-

30 = 5 × 3 × 2

126=2 × 3 × 3 × 7

108=2 ×3 ×3 × 6

here we observe that 2, & 3 both are common factors ,

∴ 2×3= 6 will be the HCF of the mentioned numbers ( 30, 126, 108)

Ans :- Common factors  are 2 & 3, and HCF will be 6.

Answer:

The H.C.F of the numbers 30, 126, 108 is 6.

Step-by-step explanation:

Factor:

  • A number which divides the other number is called the factor.

         Example: The number 20 is divisible by 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 20.

        So, the numbers 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 20 are factors of 20.

Common factor:

  • Two or more numbers which have factors as common then those factors are called Common factor.

H.C.F:

  •   H.C.F is abbreviated as Highest common factor.
  •  If two or more numbers have common factors then the highest   value among the common factors is called H.C.F.

   Given numbers are 30, 126, 108

     Write the factors of 30, 126, 108

          36 = 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 15, 30.

         126 = 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 14, 18, 21, 42, 63, 126.

        108 = 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12, 18, 27, 36, 54, 108.

  • The common factors are 1, 2, 3, 6.
  • Highest number among the common factors is 6.

         Hence, H.C.F is 6.
