Production of company 1 in 2011 = 0.6 × 20000 = 12000

Production of company 1 in 2012 = 0.9 × 20000 = 18000

Production of company 1 in 2013 = 0.7 × 20000 = 14000

Production of company 1 in 2014 = 0.9 × 20000 = 18000

Production of company 1 in 2015 = 1.3 × 20000 = 26000

Production of company 1 in 2016 = 1.3 × 20000 = 26000

Total production of company 1 = 114000

Production of company 2 in 2011 = 0.8 × 10000 = 8000

Production of company 2 in 2012 = 0.75 × 10000 = 7500

Production of company 2 in 2013 = 0.4 × 10000 = 4000

Production of company 2 in 2014 = 1.3 × 10000 = 13000

Production of company 2 in 2015 = 1.45 × 10000 = 14500

Production of company 2 in 2016 = 1.1 × 10000 = 11000

Total production of company 2 = 58000

Required average difference = (114000-58000)/6

= 9333.33

hope it helps
