Explanation:

This system encouraged value based learning and independent thinking that helped develop high moral values, honesty and integrity in the disciples. In contrast, most modern education systems promote rote learning, conformist thinking and textbook based approaches.

The basic difference between gurukul and modern school is that the gurukul education is entirely consists of Vedas, epics, literature and archery and the modern education includes variety of subjects like science, maths, English etc. ... In general the whole society was responsible for the education of students.

Answer:

Modern is better -students did their studies orally, no note making process was a such involved as nowadays.

Gurukul Is Better- it's better as the students not only study orally they also do the household work these days only the manmachine does all this work but at this time students used to draw water from well, clean the house, get food. .... and I think there is no limitation to education in the gurukul the students would pay guru dakshina as per their choice.

I think Both Are Better And Best .
