Generally human body contains 3 types of muscles..
1.Skeletal muscles :-

a) contains striations
b) cylindrical shaped
c) branched
d) involved in voluntary activities of body
e) work under the control of human
f) present in biceps triceps etc

2. Smooth muscles:---

a) donot contain striations
b) unbranched
c) fusiform shaped
d) perform involuntary body functions
e) not under human control.
f)present in intestine, stomach wall etc

3. Cardiac muscles:---

a) contain striations
b) branched
c) cylindrical
d) perform involuntary function
e) exclusively present in heart
f) not under human control
e) possess gap junctions for communication between adjacent cells
