Step1: Find the LCM of denominators 6 and 15 of the fractions and change the fraction into like fractions:
Prime factors of 6 = 2 × 3
Prime factors of 15 = 3 × 5
LCM of 6 and 15 = 2 × 3 × 5
LCM of 6 and 15 = 30
Step 2: Now divide the LCM 30 by the denominators 6 and 15:
30 ÷ 6 = 5
30 ÷ 15 = 2
Step 3: Multiply the numerator and denominator of fractions 5/6 and 13/15 by 5 and 2 :
⅚ = (5 × 5) ÷ (6 × 5)
⅚ = 25/ 30
And
13/15 = (13 × 2) ÷ (15 × 2)
13/15 = 26/30
Step 4: Compare the denominators obtained in step 3:

⅚ < 13/15
