The Charge on the neutron is zero as it is electrically neutral.

The mass of the neutron is slightly greater than the mass of the proton.

Mass of the proton = 1.6726 \times 10^-^2^7 kg

Mass of the neutron = 1.6749 \times 10^-^2^7 kg

From the above data, we can see that the difference in the mass of neutron and proton is very small and neutron have slightly more mass that the proton.
