Thompson model

_______________

In cathode ray experiment J.J. Thompson purposed that:-

i.An atom consist of a positively charged sphere and the electrons are embedded in it.

ii.The negetive and positive changes are present in equal amounts. So as to counterbalance each other.

Rutherford model

_______________

i. There is a positively charged center in an atom called the nucleus.Nearly all the mass of the atom is consentrated in the nucleus.

ii. The electrons revolve around the nucleus in circular orbior path.

iii. The size of the nucleus is very small as compared with the size of an atom.

Bohrs Model

___________

i. Only discret orbits of electrons are allowed inside the atom.

ii. While revolving in discreet orbit the electrons donot radiate energy.
