Daffodils by William Wordsworth and The Lotus by Rabindranath Tagore are two different poems.  

Theme

In the poem Daffodils, the poet has exquisitely portrayed beauty of nature. He relates a personal experience that he perceived once while wandering in nature.  

On the other hand Poem Lotus by Rabindranath Tagore is a beautiful poem with deep spiritual meaning. Lotus in the poem is symbolic of the blossoming of spiritual sense in his mind.  

Style of writing

Daffodils has a perfect rhyming scheme, ababcc; the Lotus does not have any rhyme scheme. It is written in blank verse. However both the poems have elevated writing style, characteristic of classical poetry.  

Tone of the poem

Tone of the poems is very high. Daffodils describes the beauty of nature and its effect on human mind. On the other hand, The Lotus deals with symbolic enlightenment and yogic perfection inherent in all human beings.
