Biomass is renewable sources of energy. It's mass is derived from dead plants and animal wastes. Therefore it is naturally replenished. Wood, gobar gas etc. are some examples of biomass. Hydroelectricity is also a renewable sources of energy. But it is obtained from the potential energy stored in water at a height. Energy from it can be produced again and again.

Both bio-mass and hydro electricity are renewable sources of energy. Biomass is obtained from dead plants and animal wastes whereas hydro electricity is obtained from energy stored in water at some height. Energy from both these sources can be obtained again and again.
