The question indicates two forms of living and two forms of activities. Hunting was that class in which men sand women would roam about here and there, hunt other animals, and sustain their life.

On the other hand in case of agricultural based tribes, the activities were more or less confined to being stationary. They used to stay in one place. both of these were exposed to Europeans and while there were some sections who protested, some were fine with the overall concept of Europeans coming over to places and stay or do business.

Again the hunters would go about to the same areas with Europeans. However the purpose of both of these was different. It seems that the tribes were able to adjust with the Europeans and take up this change faster.
