vacuole is a cell organelle which contains mainly water while lysosomes also cell organelle and are regarded as suicide bags by function. Vacuoles stores the undigested nutrients while the Lysosomes are the membrane bound sacs containing digestive enzymes that breaks down large molecules.

lysosome is called the suicide bag of the cell because when the cell becomes old enough,its parts become damaged whereas vacuole is the part of the cell which helps the cell to digest different food items which a cell eats,it is larger and only one in a plant cell,as compared to animal cell which has a more no.of vacuoles and smaller in size as compared to plant cell.
