Nervous system  The information is conveyed in the form of electric impulse.  The axons and dendrites transmit the information through a coordinated effort.  The flow of information is rapid and the response is quick.  Its effects are short lived.   Hormonal system  The information is conveyed in the form of chemical messengers.  The information is transmitted or transported through blood.  The information travels slowly and the response is slow.  It has prolonged effects.    Hope it helps Mark me as brainliest Thanks..

Nervous mechanism:-

1. It is performed by nervous system which sent an electrical impulse along axons and as a chemical across synapse and acts through effectors.

2. The information is transmitted instantaneously.

3. the effects are short lived.

Hormonal mechanism:-

1. It is performed by chemical sub. called hormones , secreted by endocrine glands.

2. the information is transmitted slowly not as fast as nervous mechanism.

3. the effects are generally more prolonged.
