hey mate here is your answer,
Prokaryotic transcription and translation occur simultaneously in the cytoplasm, and regulationoccurs at the transcriptionallevel. Eukaryotic gene expressionis regulated during transcription and RNA processing, which take place in the nucleus, and during protein translation, which takes place in the cytoplasm.

GENE REGULATION IN PROKARYOTES ;
▶️The regulation of gene expression in bacteria is carried out through Operon System Operon model was first given by the to French microbiologist for which day we are awarded Nobel Prize in 1965 Oberon is a segment of genetic material which functions as regulated units that is units that can be switched on or switch off .
▶️An Operon System consists of structural gene, operator gene, regulator ,promoter gene .
⏩ OPERATOR GENE :
operators gene gives Passage to RNA polymerase moving from promoter to structural gene that is it controls the activity of structural genes
⏩REGULATOR GENE :
regulator gene controls activity of cooperative chain by producing repressor molecules .
⏩PROMOTER GENE:
promoter gene is an initiation for transcription and the site for binding of RNA polymerase .
hope it helps you
