*Spreadsheet has cells where you can put much information in each cell and view it all at the same time. Calculator you cannot
*You can put text in a spreadsheet. Calculator you can only input numbers
*You can put formulae into spreadsheet cells for it to calculate the answer. Calculator you cannot.
*You can format the cells in a spreadsheet eg add colours, put currency signs etc in. calculator you cannot.
