There aren’t many differences. The few that there are, I enumerate below:
The Sultanate was ruled over by five unrelated dynasties while the Mughal Empire was ruled only by one dynasty. The Mughal rule has had a greater cultural impact on India, mainly because more information about the Mughals is available. Of course, there are texts available from the time of the Delhi Sultanate, but nobody bothers to read those. The Mughals brought with them gunpowder firearms, field artillery and a navy. Of course, the navy came much later. [This is something interesting: History says that the Lodis lacked any firearms or canons during the Battle of Panipat in 1526. This seems to me a bit implausible because military conflicts in South India between the Vijayanagara Empire and the Bahmani Sultanate did involve gunpowder. The Bahmani Sultanate broke away from the Tughlaq-ruled Delhi Sultanate in the first half of the 14th Century.]pls give brainliest
