1. There are 63 elements in Mendeleév's Periodic Table, but in Modern periodic table, ther e are 118 elements.

2. There are gaps prefixed by the sansrit numeral, eka, for the elements that where not discovered at that time in Mendeleév's Periodic Table, while in the Modern Periodic Table, there no gaps.

3. In the modern periodic table, the properties of the are the periodic functions of there atomic masses, but the Modern periodic law states that the properties of the elements are the periodic function of their atomic numbers.

Mendeleev's periodic table is, based on relation of properties of elements as dependent on the atomic weight of element. But Modern periodic table considers atomic number as the fundamental property that decides the properties of elements. Modern periodic table does correct defects of the Mendeleev's periodic table.
