Answers
Answer:
"Baudhnath stupa is a unique structure, and a UNESCO recognized world heritage site, and the Pashupatinath temple is immensely popular, both are located in Nepal.
The atmosphere near the Pashupatinath temple is chaotic, ie people push their way in to see the shrine, The place gathers excess attention, and the noise that's made by the monkeys around the temple adds to it, whereas the Baudhnath stupa is a quiet and relaxed place which is a preferable environment.

This is the a brief ecxtract by the Vikram Seth from his travelogue" Heaven Lake". In this he tells us about the two temples of Kathmandu when he went for a trip from India to Nepal via Tibet. In this extract he contrast on the atmosphere of the two places,i.e., the Pashupatinath Temple of Hindus and the BAudhnath Temple of Buddhists.
The atmosphere of Pashupatinath temple is very chaotic place with a 'febrile confusion'. The crowd constitutes the monkeys, dogs, priests, people. Msny people were putting other people aside by pushing with the elbow. The people were polluting the river as there were people who were cremating the corpse, children were bathing and the women were washing clothes. There was a signboard which indicates that only hindus are aalowed to the temple.
The atmosphere of Baudhnath temple as compared to Pashupatinath temple was very peaceful. It was a immense dome which was ringed by a road and there was crowd on the road but the peace and relaxation feeled inside the temple vanishes all the crowd. There was no restrictions of people or there was no sacred things of Buddhists as there was in the Pashupatinath temple. There was no crowd, animals, etc. ehich constitutes the crowd but as compared there was full of happiness in the atmosphere of Baudhnath temple.
