Hey Mate ✌✌
Here is ur answer..
_____________________
- XYLEM
1) In plants water and mineral salts are transported by xylem tissue .
2) Xylem consists of trachieds , vessels , xylem fiber and xylem parenchyma.
3) Only xylem parenchyma is living tissue .
4)Trachieds , vessels , xylem fibers are dead tissues .
5) Xylem gives mechanical strength to the plant .
6) Conduction of water by xylem is unidirectional i.e.,from roots to aplical parts of the plant.
7) Xylem occupies the center of the vascular bundle .
8) Xylem is star shaped.
9) Tubular with hard walled cells.
- PHLOEM
1) In plants food material is transported by phloem tissue .
2) Phloem consists of sieve cells.
3) Sieve tubes , sieve cells companion cells and phloem parenchyma are living cells.
4) Phloem fibers are dead tissues .
5) phloem doesn't give mechanical strength .
6) Food material conduction is bidirectional i.e.,from leaves to storage organs or growing points and from storage organs to growing parts of plants .
7) Phloem occurs on outer side of the vascular bundle .
8) phloem is not star shaped .
9)Tubular with soft walled cells.

1. Meristematic tissue is the zone of actively dividing cells and responsible for the growth of the plant. Dermal tissue is the single layer of the cells. Which cover the plant body.
2. Meristematic tissues are present at various places in the plant like apical meristem and lateral meristem. While, dermal tissue is present everywhere on the plant. And form the barrier between the plant and environment.
3. Meristematic tissue is only for the growth. While, dermal tissue modifies for different functions. Like, for the absorption of the water and mineral in the root hairs, stem and leaves dermal tissues covers with cutin to prevent evaporation.
