Answers
Answer:
By the time Margie was a student the human teachers were replaced by mechanical and robotic teachers. Lessons and questions were decided by the computers. There was a slot to keep the homework and test papers. The students were supposed to write them out in a punch code and the mechanical teacher calculated the marks in no time. As it was mechanical it had no feelings to understand Margie's emotions it was also unable to understand where Margie lacked. She studied alone without any classmate. This was the reason Margie hated school.
According to Margie, in the old kind of schools, all children of the neighbourhood came laughing and shouting to the schoolyard. They sat together and went back home together. They learn the same things if they were of the same age. They could also help each other with the homework and talk about it. Their teacher was a human teacher. He could understand the student's feeling and emotions. This is the reason why Margie thought that old kind of school must have been fun.
