Cross-pollination is the transfer of pollen from the anther of one flower to the stigma of another flower on a different individual of the same species.

Geitonogamy and autogamy are the two types of the process of reproduction occur in self-pollination, while allogamy kind of reproduction occurs in cross-pollination.
