Compare and contrast the unification of Italy with the unification of Germany. Which do you feel was harder to accomplish and why?

If we see the comparison then we can notice that in the unification of both Germany and Italy there was use of force along with revolutionary groups. But the unification of Germany was hard to achieve. This is because Germany was a big nation along with that it was occupied by three forces French, Austria and Denmark which had its greater states. Where as in Italy the states occupied by foreign forces were comparatively less.
