1. A land line phone is stationary, but a mobile phone can be carried around anywhere. A mobile phone is modern, yet the land line is more reliable. But the land line is heavier and inconvenient, so the mobile is preferred amongst the masses.

2. Snakes and and ladders can be played by many people at once, but Ludo can only be played by a maximum of four at a time. Ludo has only up to two to four players, yet it is more competitive than snakes and ladders. Snakes and ladders has it's origin in India, and Ludo is also an Indian game.
