Answer:- First equation is showing a phase change which is a physical change where as second equation is for a chemical change.

Explanations:- In first equation, the chemical formula for reactant side as well as product side is same. Means it is not a chemical change. Only the physical state from gas to liquid is changing. The equation is for the condensation of water vapors to liquid water.

In second equation, sulfur dioxide and oxygen are reacting to form sulfur trioxide. It is a synthesis reaction which is a chemical change as the chemical formulas are changing.
