Comparison- In 19th century women were not so powerful(political, finance etc). But today women are leading India at some places like Chairperson of ICICI Bank, former president of India Smt. Partibha Devi Singh Patil, indira Nui CEO of Papsico. Women are in every field. You can see.

Contrast- in backward areas, the condition of women is same like 19th century. No literacy rate in some villages. Some villages in India behave like Boko Haram. After so much of women empowerment, literacy rate is still below to men. There is no reservation for women in Parliament( only in Panchayati Raj).
